IF: Clumsy

Here is my drawing for this weeks topic. I don't really think I capture the essence of clumsy in this. I can see it in my head though but it ended up not being as clumsy as I wanted it. If anything the idea of ice skating is clumsy! I am not that good at it and couldn't tell you when the last time I tried doing it was. Oh well, so it goes...
Anyway, I have been taking a break from illustrating on the computer for a little bit. I don't want my markers and colored pencils to feel neglected but man is it hard sometimes. I catch myself saying apple z when I don't like what I did on paper! I actually redid this 3 times! I hope you guys like it!

Lizlings!!!

Here is a picture of all that hard work I did this past Christmas. I am sooo excited to finally have pictures of these guys and be able to finally set up my etsy store! Now all I gotta do is sew my little heart out so I got stuff to sell!

IF: Wilderness

I decided to break out the colored pencils for this! It's been awhile and I worked on this on the table with cage full of two bratty hamsters whom kept fighting and making a racket! This was fun to do tho but I know I could have taken it further. I kind of rushed to get this done and out of the way so I could start another project.

Fun with Polaroids

I finally pulled out my Polaroid camera that I haven't used in years especially since the film shortage and Polaroid going under. It's such a cool camera! And it's instant gratification just like that!!! We had some good times with it at my friend's husbands 90's themed birthday party last weekend. This definitely makes me want to use my camera more. Unfortunately it's kind of hard right now to get film for it without spending a decent chunk of change... I heard something about Polaroid making a comeback this year. Who knows?? No really anyone??? I'm itching to drop some dollars on the Fuji Instax for the time being....as long as I use it, it won't be a waste....

Fox

I don't have a good title for this illustration at all. I don't want to start labeling everything untitled though, so fox will have to do. Ever since I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox I have been doodling little foxes here and there. No no, they won't replace the bunny though! Ok enough babbling from me...

Here's what I have been up so far this bright new year...

It's been awhile since I posted something...well at least for me. I've been doing a lot of card crafting and such for weeks at my job and also in my free time at home. One is a b-day card for my uncle and the other two are paper crafted cases for mix cd's for friends. I even baked some really kick-ass cupcakes!
