Little Fox

This a new little creation! I made  a fox out of sculpey which is kind of the most amazing stuff ever. This little guy is based off the fox I drew for my Silence illustration. He's a cutie and don't be surprised if you see him popping up in my instagram pictures.

IF: Haunt

Ack! It's been awhile since I have done a post for Illustration Friday. I am just starting to get back into blogging again and catching up on projects. Unfortunately I had plans to get this one done much sooner this week but do to Hurricane Sandy wasn't able to with the power being out. However I just finished it so I am going to get it up before this week ends! Hope any of you out there who got hit with the hurricane are ok and safe.

Me birthday is coming! Squeee!

This is abnormal excitement for an age I am dreading. No matter how many times I have said this year I don't want to celebrate turning 33, I somehow have gone against it. I'm throwing myself a drink beer and eat pretzels gathering. Why not, right? I think it sure beats drinking home alone which quite honestly may still happen since my birthday is technically on a Tuesday and really who is going to want to come hangout with me on a Tuesday night!?? Anyone?? Hehe. I actually look forward to sitting in front of the tv with a glass of wine and my sketchbook. I have to say I really do hope that at 33 I accomplish some things that I haven't gotten around to doing. I shall make this a year about me! Especially now because I have this funny little conversation sticking out in my head that I had with a temp co-worker a week ago, about how 33 is usually the year you make changes in your life. If you haven't made them by 35 then you then you are likely never going to make them. Yikes,  maybe that is all I needed to hear! I still believe you can take risks and make changes but usually what happens is we get settled into a routine or some sort of situation and before you know it you're 10 years older and maybe not happy where you are at. I think I am going to write a list of things that I want to do and accomplish and start doing them or working towards them!
