Weekly Watercolor #28 - Holidays

It's been a few weeks since my last watercolor post! I've been busy with the jobbie job and making yeti's for the ornament swap. There's also been another project I've been working on but waiting till that's ready to post or at least post the part of it that I had worked on. I even managed to get my Christmas cards done just in time, post that in a day or 2! I didn't think anything was going to happen but my watercolors did take the back seat. So here is a quick and dirty drawing for this week! Kind of sums up some of what's been going on.  Stay tuned I plan to keep my water color project going into next year but we'll see!

Ornament Swap 2014

One of the reasons why I haven't posted my weekly watercolor in the last few weeks is because I am bad time manager! I've been working on these little guys for an ornament swap. Each one hand sewn with needle and thread cause I'm crazy! And those little candy canes, each sculpted with sculpey clay. I don't regret my hardship though, in the end it was worth it!

Weekly Watercolor #27 - Thanksgiving

Today was suppose to feel a lot more snowier than it turned out but nonetheless it was a short work day! So I spent most of day sitting around feeling unmotivated than I realized I needed to work on my watercolor this week! It's yet another yeti drawing. Seems appropriate for a semi snowy day.

I just wanted to add this in to this weeks post. 'Tis the season to be thankful and I am. No matter how crazy some days or months may feel it really isn't all that bad! Thankful for my health that can often feel like a mystery. Thankful for everyone in my life, new and old. Thankful to work with a  bunch of awesome people at my job which make the craziness easier to deal with. I'm thankful for my family and friends. I love you guys.
